So Here I Am

We've made it to Manhattan, but now what? I'm still unpacking (I've only been here for 3 days!) but I swear it looks like we robbed a Crate and Barrel with all the boxes we've been throwing away. My neighbors must think I'm crazy. Hubby starts his new job tomorrow while I begin my search for employment. Not something I'm looking forward to but it needs to be done. I'll go nuts sooner rather than later without a job.

New York is exciting though, I have to admit. I'm really looking forward to exploring the city a little on my own, well not completely alone, with my trusty four-legged friend Sullivan. Hopefully I'll be posting on a more regular basis now. At least I'm going to try. I'll keep you posted on my jaunts and interesting finds in the city.

If you know of any places I should check out on the UES let me know!!!

Welcome! I hope Daisy and I run into you and Sullivan soon. Have you checked out Carl Shurtz park?

Places on the UES? I highly recommend that you try out Serendipity's which is I believe on E. 60th right off Lexington, near Bloomingdale's. Pottery Barn is nearby too...that is one of my favorite areas to hang out - my fiance's Aunt works in the Chanel section of Bloomingdales and we always drop by when we are in the area.
